The Amazing Cashman,[1] also known as Cashman 3: The Amazing Cashman,[2] is a 2011 comedy brickfilm by Philip Heinrich. It is the sequel to Cashman: Man of Cash and it reveals Cashman to be a fictional movie character whose film franchise is failing, leading to the studio deciding to reboot it. The Cashman reboot is an allusion to the film The Amazing Spider-Man. The Amazing Cashman won first place in the Twenty-four Hour Animation Contest 9.[3]
Plot[]
Walter Vincent wins a Bricks in Motion Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role, for playing the character Cashman. Walter arrives to a meeting with studio executives, excited about making Cashman 3. The executives, however, regretfully inform him that he is no longer relevant, and that Cashman 2 did not pull nearly as many viewers as the original.
Walter is shown a trailer for an upcoming gritty reboot of Cashman, titled The Amazing Cashman and starring new lead actor James Felix. The studio offers to claim that Walter was replaced due to being too expensive.[2]
