The Nadine and Charlie Music Video Competition was a brickfilming competition hosted by Joshua Leasure on behalf of the music group Nadine and Charlie in 2006 and again in 2007. The aim of the contest was to produce a brickfilm music video for a song by the group. The contests were hosted on the forums of Brickfilms.com which Leasure was the owner of at the time, but they were not presented as being official contests of the site itself.
Nadine and Charlie Music Video Competition[]
The Nadine and Charlie Music Video Competition was announced by Joshua Leasure on the 4th of January 2006 with a deadline of the 12th of March 2006.[1] A choice was given of 7 songs to make a video for. The contest would be judged by the group themselves. A prize of £200 was offered for the winner and £50 for two runners-up.[2] The contest received 9 entries.[3]

Nadine and Charlie 2007 Music Video Competition[]
A second iteration of the contest, the Nadine and Charlie 2007 Music Video Competition, was announced on December 19, 2006.[5] The original deadline was April 30 2007, but this was later extended to July 9. A selection of 9 songs were available to make a video for. The films entered to the contest were intended to be shown on television and were required to be submitted in a format suitable for this. The judging and prizes were the same as the original contest, with the group judging the entrants and a prize of £200 for first place and £50 for two runners up. An additional prize for technical achievement was added later. The contest received four entries. This was the last brickfilming competition hosted by Joshua Leasure.

An additional prize for technical achievement, with equal prize money to first place, was created to honour Driven.[6] This meant that all four entries to the contest received prizes.
