Jason Allemann and Deane VanLuven are early Canadian brickfilmers, who had brickfilms online in 2000.[1] They are best known for the film The Rescue.

Jason Allemann continues to be involved in the online LEGO world as a celebrated MOC'er,[2] and even had his creation Labyrinth Marble Maze released as the official LEGO set 21305 Maze, through LEGO Ideas.[3] Deane VanLuven also remained interested in LEGO and stop-motion, as evidenced by his creation of a stop-motion build of the LEGO set 10179 Ultimate Collector's Millennium Falcon, created many years after he was an active brickfilmer.[4]
