Monitogo Studios is an American stop-motion animation and graphic design studio. Its core members are director Greg Tull and producer Monica Tull. They are best known for the feature length brickfilm Bound.
History[]
The Tull siblings were introduced to brickfilming when they saw Winston Churchill: Escape from Pretoria by Sam Lawlace at the 2006 San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival (SAICFF).[1][2] They created their first brickfilm in 2008 in the two weeks before the deadline for the 2009 SAICFF, and it became a semi-finalist in the festival.[3][4] They began production on Bound in 2009 (and went on to hire Lawlace as an animator for the film). In 2017, Monitogo Studios became listed as being on standby.[5] In 2019, updates began to be posted about work on a new brickfilm, ATLAS, which was released in 2020.
