Jay Silver is a Canadian stop-motion animator. He is best known in brickfilming for The Gauntlet from 2001 and Rise of the Empire from 2002; two influential brickfilms that each greatly exceeded the standards of their time. He is also known for Rapunzel, which spawned a parody trend in brickfilming, and for The Journey, which placed first in the Bricks in Motion Celebration Contest.[2] He has also provided voice acting for many brickfilms.
