Welcome to the Brickfilms Wiki, the community run encyclopaedia about stop motion animated films created using LEGO and other plastic brick construction toys, that you can help. This wiki is not endorsed by The LEGO Group, and is not run in official association with any website or organisation. It is currently staffed by members of the community at Bricks in Motion.

Spirit of Adventure Contest

Bricks in Motion has announced its 2017 summer contest, the Spirit of Adventure Contest. The theme of the contest is adventure and the deadline is September 10. This is the seventh summer contest on the site and the first to be hosted by Seán Willis, who took over as site admin in 2017. The contest is sponsored by Dragonframe, Brickstuff, and The LEGO Animation Book, who are all providing prizes. This contest has added a new Promising Director prize.


Brawl17

BRAWL 2017

The 2017 edition of the Brickfilm Rapidly All Week Long Contest, or BRAWL, has begun. It will run from June 25 to July 2. This is the first BRAWL to be run in official association with Bricks in Motion. This will be the ninth edition of BRAWL, which first ran in August 2008.

"Spring Blossoms" Brickfilm Contest (Closed)

BrickVideo Studio has announced its second brickfilm contest, following the recent "Fooled" contest. This new contest has the theme "Spring Blossoms", and entrants must include a flower or plant in their film. This contest is again being hosted by Daniel Utecht, and the deadline is June 24.


ReBrick Ninjago Movie

Ninja for a Day (Closed)

Another brickfilming competition ran on Rebrick, this time tying in with The LEGO Ninjago Movie. The six winners of this competition will have the chance for their entries to appear in the movie. The deadline for this contest was May 10. The results announced were on June 20. In addition to the six Grand Prize winners, an additional 5 Bonus Winners were announced.

This was the eighth brickfilming competition hosted on LEGO's Rebrick platform. Brickfilm contests have become a regular feature on the site in recent months.
