FrankensteinBrickfilm of the Week

Frankenstein is a 2005 horror brickfilm by Robinson Wood. It is an adaptation of the Mary Shelley novel of the same name and was an entry to the Heroes and Villains Contest hosted by, in which it placed first. It also was nominated for six 2005 Brickfilming Achievement in Motion Picture Arts awards, winning two.

Robinson Wood was a well-known member of the community, and is also known for Grace, System Reboot, and Melodramedy. He was active from 2003 to 2006.


Brickfilm Rapidly All Week Long Contest

The Brickfilm Rapidly All Week Long Contest, or BRAWL, is an annual brickfilming contest with a time limit of one week. Participants must create an entire brickfilm from scratch (with the exception of set building, music design, and sound effects) within seven days. BRAWL has been hosted on the website Bricks In Motion since its inception. The contest was conceived by Andrew Munzer and has been run by various individuals since 2008. Since 2013, BRAWL has been hosted by "Fun Sucker". The top 3 placing entries to the 2015 iteration were:
1) The Quiz by Gregory Moore and Garry Moore
2) Behind the Door by Mathieu Blangy
3) Retribution by Neal Tovstiga


Ralph and Rupert series

The Ralph and Rupert series is a series of comedy brickfilms created by and starring Dave Wardell. The series follows Ralph McCormick and Rupert Buckingham who share a house and get into various shenanigans, often as a result of Ralph's stupidity. The series ran from 2004 to 2005 and encompasses five films, including Money and Mad Crazy Scientist.
