Welcome to the Brickfilms Wiki, the community run encyclopaedia about stop motion animated films created using LEGO and other plastic brick construction toys, that you can help. Build and Rebuild

Just days after the conclusion of the previous one, a new brickfilm contest has been launched on ReBrick. This contest ties in with the LEGO Creator theme. It is the seventh brickfilm contest hosted on ReBrick and the fourth since its relaunch in March 2016.

Note that the rules for this contest are restrictive and at times contradictory. Pay close attention to them if you are producing an entry.


THAC XIV (Closed)

The fourteenth edition of the Twenty-four Hour Animation Contest occurred on January 7-8, 2017. It was once again hosted by Nathan Wells on Bricks in Motion. The 58 entries may be viewed here. The winners were:

  1. (Never) Meant To Be - Thomas Evans and Sean Warton
  2. M-Man - Biography of a Sig Fig - Nate Swihart
  3. Changing of the Guard starring Bo-Jest - Christof Muñoz
The Twenty-four Hour Animation Contest, or THAC, was started by David West on in 2005. It moved to the then-new Bricks in Motion in 2008 and became an official contest of the website in 2010.

LEGO Batman Movie Brick Films (Closed)

To tie in with the upcoming feature film The LEGO Batman Movie, The LEGO Group recently ran a Batman-themed brickfilm contest. The results are due to be announced on February 16. The winners will have their brickfilms included on the LEGO Batman Movie DVD and Blu-ray, in addition to other prizes. This is the sixth brickfilm contest hosted on LEGO's ReBrick platform, which originally ran three brickfilm contests from 2012 to 2013 before being relaunched in 2016 purely as a contest platform.
